Complete 55 Gallon Drum Smoker Kit With Stainless Steel Parts

We have had many requests to offer a fully cut out and welded drum smoker kit with stainless steel parts. The drum and stainless steel parts are the same as what we use to build the drum smokers. 

This drum smoker kit is very simple to put together. No drilling, welding, grinding, or measuring needed. Simply sand the drum body and lid (with a sanding sponge), clean with a degreaser  (available at most auto parts stores), and paint (high temperature spray paint, or enamel spray paint works as well). Once the paint is dry the parts can be installed using the provided hardware. 

The kit includes:

• New, carbon steel 55 gallon smooth wall drum. This drum is unpainted and does not need to be burned out. The drum comes cut out and welded. 
• The lid is cut out and embossed with the Hunsaker. 
• The bottom air intake hole will come with a punched flange to help keep grease from coming out while still making it easy to clean after a cook.
• Vortex charcoal basket. The vortex charcoal basket helps to minimize hot spots within the smoker. The basket also makes loading charcoal easy with a integrated lift handle.
  
• Rolled and welded heat shield. The heat shield has (3) U shaped pins welded to help keep the heat shield centered in the bottom of the smoker.
• Stainless steel bottom air intake lever. The lever controls the amount of incoming air into the smoker. The lever is foot controlled by sliding left or right. An air intake indicator sticker.
• Stainless steel food cooking grate. This grate is built out of heavy 304 stainless steel wire. The grate has (3) pins that allow for the grate to be raised and lowered without tilting the grate.
• Adjustable grate system. The grate system comes welded to the inside of the drum and accepts the Hunsaker pinned grates for level raising and lowering of the grate.
• Stainless steel lid lift handle. The ergonomic designed lid lift handle helps making raising and lowering the lid easy. 
• Stainless steel smoke stack and rear hinge/handle. The smokestack includes an integrated port for the screw in thermometer (included) and an exhaust damper to control the exiting air. The smokestack has a welded bar on the back that works with the rear handle/floating hinge. The rear handle has an integrated floating hinge to making raising and lowering the lid a breeze.
• Silicone grommet thermometer port. The port allows for a digital thermometer probe to pass through the smoker wall.
• Stainless steel Tel-Tru brand dial thermometer. This thermometer is Hunsaker branded.
• Stainless steel axle with (2) 8" wheels. These oversize wheels make moving the smoker even over rough ground easy.
• Locking front swivel caster. The 3" caster has a On/Off and is controlled by pressing down on either the On or Off.
• Hunsaker emblem badge. The emblem is mounted with (2) included rivets (rivet gun not included). If you would like to install the emblem (2) 1/8" holes will need to be drilled. 
• Hardware mounting kit. Includes all the needed bolts, washers, and nuts to install the parts.
