Get rid of the handles

The grate is great. Its very good thickness (ga). However it would be nice to have no handles so you can get more food on like a full brisket.

Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Food Grate for 18.5" WSM - Upper Grate

I could tell by the picture that it was a heavy duty grill, but had no idea just how heavy duty it was til I held it in my hands. WOW - it is HEAVY DUTY. I'm very pleased that it surpassed my expectations. Well worth the money.

What an upgrade!

Got tired of buying Weber replacements that rusted out after a year. Really impressed with the weight and thickness of the grill grates. Hoping this will be my last replacement grate for awhile. Thanks Hunsaker!

The Last Grill Grate You will Ever Buy for Your WSM.

There is no way this will not be the last Weber grate replacement I need for my WSM. The product description mentions the 3.5lb weight of the Hunsaker grate but does not mention that the stock grill weighs a measly 1.8 pounds in comparison. That is 94.444444% more; in typical marketing hype, that is a doubling in steel. The perimeter 304 stainless steel rim appears to be at least twice the thickness of the rusted OEM grate. The cross pieces are a minimum of a 30% heavier gauge. Like the Hunsaker rib hanger, this grate will last the serviceable life of your WSM or longer.
