This is a great well made stainless grate. I used it with 4 carriage bolts to construct an elevated 2nd grate for my large BGE. Its only competition is from Ceramic Grill Store, same diameter wire, but theirs is actually 16.7in overall diameter. Hunsaker has 22 wires while CGS has 24.
It is made very well heavy duty . Goes well with the super heavy duty food grate.
I grill out frequently with a Weber kettle grill. I have found that the oem Weber charcoal grates only last about a year before they warp and/or rust out. The replacement grate I got from Hunsaker seems substantially more durable and I’m confident it will last several years and it’s a perfect fit replacement. Very pleased with purchase!
