I've had an 18.5 WSM for about a decade. Slabs of ribs have always been a PITA to get them to fit on the grill grate and I don't like to use the bottom grate. Standard rib racks don't have enough space between slabs so the middle slabs tend to steam with uneven bark formation. The bark can also get knocked off when moving the slabs around. This hanger is godsend. I like to cut the slabs in half, before hanging em so I can use a water pan. I like to glaze and spray my ribs the last half of the cook and this hanger system makes it a breeze by simply lifting the slab with a spare hanger straight up and out. In addition there's no need to flip the ribs. Just make sure that the slabs have space between them and rotate for even cooking. I've never had ribs cook so evenly. Well built, plenty of hangers.
